‘The extent to which learning experiences meet learners needs and interests in the development of basic and key skills’ is a main focus in Estyn inspections.  Key Skills are inspected within subjects as well as through the seven key questions.  Experience reveals that where key skill achievement is seen to be poor, this can impact on the overall performance of your school or FE College. This workshop will review the latest Estyn reports and highlight the questions that inspectors commonly use to evaluate key skills.    Participants will develop a Key Skills Quality Improvement plan for their school/FE College.
