All Wales Schools Network: Print
Friday, 07 March 2008, 09:30 - 15:30 Hits : 1267

The All Wales Schools Key Skills Network meeting being held at the Caer Berys Hotel, Builth Wells, is an excellent opportunity to be informed and engaged about good transferable skills practice and innovation across schools in Wales. The termly updates provide practitioners at all levels with the latest developments in key strategic areas such as: the 14-19 agenda, assessment for learning and its role in IOLP, the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification, and e-learning initiatives such as the  ‘Learning For Life’ project  and Learning Circles.

The March network will include contributions from four secondary schools embedding key skills across their programmes of study at all three key stages including the WBQ. Finally, colleagues from Ty’r Morwydd will be launching their new ‘Moving Mountains’ key skills field trip project.
