explored in a key skills learning circle in the Spring term. Learners
will work on a collaborative project to explore the ethics of sport.
They will work with other learners in Wales and link up with young
people around the world to seek their opinions.

The final report of the external evaluation of the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification (WBQ) Pilot, which has been understaken by the Centre for Developing and Evaluating Lifelong Learning (CDELL), at the University of Nottingham. The report provides strong evidence of the value of Key Skills. More.

Involving over 300 Y9 pupils and 25 teachers working in different specialist areas. Following a 2 hour introductory session where key skills were used and higlighted, the pupils worked in groups over the next two days to develop a piece of work which was then presented to the year group. The groups worked through the mediums of art, music, technology, drama etc to produce their final piece developing key skills at level 1 and 2 in Communication (English and Welsh), WWO, PS, AoN and ICT.

University of Bath have produced eight themed reports on various aspects of the Welsh Bac. The themed report on KEY SKILLS includes sections on Delivery, Assessment, Monitoring, Students' perspectives and Staff training. These are now all in the public domain and can be accessed via the University of Bath website.
